VA not getting any funds? ... kinda weird considering VA is a big mining state here in the southwest

Two more deaths in W.VA. And susposedly new training. Hmm a little to late for some. But maybe a step forward for others in W.VA.
I still wonder about VA. I know the safety record is better. But yet it is all about deep mining. Which is dangerous no matter what.
Don't quite understand how many deaths did it take to get attention that, maybe there was not enough training or proper underground rescue equipment for those working underground.
I'd say if ya want to make a few extra bucks , get the certs back and teach on weekends and evenings. The "dogholes" will still have to train people. Or you might want to go into the drugscreening biz [img]/LDPforum/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img] Ky is gonna change some laws that will run a lot of people off, and Va and WVA will have to follow suit , just to keep out the trash. And it ain't the guy that gets a lil high on the weekend that is causing the problem, those have always been there and always dried up before Monday by their self. These folks are taking the stuff before , during and after.
